What Is the Grace of God?
At its simplest, grace is unearned kindness. Scripture describes God's grace toward humanity as a gift given even though it is not deserved. The letter to the Ephesians puts it plainly: "By grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
This truth sits at the center of everything Büyük Lütuf is about. Salvation isn't earned by following religious rules or by being good enough; it is received only by trusting God's free kindness. That is both comforting and humbling — comforting because we have nothing to prove, humbling because we have nothing to boast in.
Understanding grace changes how we live. Instead of striving to prove ourselves, we live from the knowledge that we are already loved. Take a few minutes today to reflect on how you're responding to that grace — perhaps by starting with a simple prayer of thanks.
